The second stage of the 36th edition of the 1000 Millas Sport took place

The 36th edition of the 1000 Millas Sport is currently underway, centered in the city of Bariloche.
The competition is entering its decisive stage, where the top contenders face the challenge of maintaining consistency to secure the ultimate prize.
On the second day accompanied by ideal weather conditions throughout the race started shortly before 7:00 a.m. at the Hotel Llao Llao. It proceeded through the following locations: Dina Huapi, Villa La Angostura, Hua Huan, San Martín de los Andes, Junín de los Andes, Huechulaufquen, La Rinconada, Alicura, and Casa del Limay, before returning to the Hotel Llao Llao at approximately 7:00 p.m.
At the end of the day, the partial results showed the following top five positions:
1- López Alejandro Gourovich, Gabriel Mercedes Benz 290 Sport C 1936
2- Tonconogy Margarita, Zilbergleijt Gaston, Bugatti T 38 1927
3- Kricorian Walter, Schiaffino, Alejandro Hudson SUPER SIX 1926
4- Eliçabe Manuel, Ros Artayeta Bernabé, Bugatti T 37 1926
5- Sánchez Zinny Fernando, Sanchez Zinny Lucho, Amilcar CGSs 1927
In any case, this is only the second leg, and everything could change during the final day.
The third stage takes place on Saturday the 30th, and sunny weather is expected to continue accompanying the competitors who spend between 9 and 11 hours in their vehicles since the priority in this type of sporting event is regularity rather than speed.
“We have experienced an incredible second stage, where the competitors demonstrated great talent and delivered excellent performances. While the top five positions remain unchanged, the competition remains wide open; tomorrow, Saturday, is a crucial day. A great final leg and a thrilling conclusion await us,” state Fernando Briones, President of the Club de Automóviles Sport and General Director of the 1000 Millas Sport, and Daniel Claramunt, Executive Director of the 1000 Millas Sport.
