The 36th Mil Millas Sport arrives in Bariloche with a major tourism impact

Bariloche is set to reclaim its place on the international historic motorsport stage with the 36th edition of the 1000 Millas Sport, taking place from November 26 to 29 and featuring iconic cars.
Municipal Tourism Secretary Sergio Herrero welcomed the city’s return as host to an event of this magnitude and highlighted its impact on the local economy. “Every international competition that chooses Bariloche boosts our destination’s profile, helps us overcome seasonality, and creates jobs for local residents,” he stated, adding: “Hosting this major event is also part of the efforts the Municipality and Emprotur are making to position Bariloche as a year-round destination.”
The city hosts this event following the recent Ferrari Cavalcade Adventure 2025, which brought together over 50 supercars from the Italian marque to drive regional routes centered at the Hotel Llao Llao garnering significant national and international media coverage.
The program
The 2025 1000 Millas Sport program will traverse some of Patagonia’s most iconic landscapes. Participants are scheduled to arrive on flights from Buenos Aires on Wednesday the 26th, followed by the opening of the Parque Cerrado at the Civic Center, technical inspection on the ramp, and the traditional ceremonial start, prior to the reception and dinner at the Llao Llao.
The first stage takes place on Thursday the 27th, starting early from the hotel and covering a route that includes Llao Llao, Circuito Chico, Brazo Huemul, Villa La Angostura, and the Seven Lakes Route, before returning to Bariloche via Dina Huapi. At the end of the day, the teams will gather for the customary social event in the hotel lobby.
Activities continue on Friday the 28th with the second stage, once again setting out from Llao Llao toward Villa La Angostura, San Martín de los Andes, Junín de los Andes, Alicurá, and Villa Llanquín, before returning to the city. This will be one of the competition’s longest and most scenic days, featuring a mix of mountain ranges, lakes, and steppe landscapes.
Finally, the third stage takes place on Saturday the 29th, with a route connecting Llao Llao, Cerro Catedral, Villa Mascardi, El Bolsón, and the Baqueanos campsite, followed by a return to the starting point. That evening brings one of the most anticipated moments: the gala dinner and the charity auction benefiting the Food Bank and various regional NGOs.
With classic sports cars and landscapes that captivate visitors from around the globe, Bariloche once again demonstrates why it is a preferred setting for major automotive events on the continent.
